is my mother, Dottie, my sister, Vonnie, me, our daughter Angela, our
granddaughter Alyssa. Seated is Angela's husband, Bruce, and my
husband, Tom. The boys are our grandsons, Elliot Bruce, born
December 26, 2006, and Hudson Thomas, born August 2, 2005. You can

As
long-time members of the Carlsbad Lions Club, Tom & I are the directors
of the Miss & Teen Carlsbad Scholarship Pageant, which has been a
community service and fundraising project for the club since 1954.
After several frustrating years of trying to find nice pageant sashes,
Tom bought me an embroidery machine so I could make them myself.
Other pageant directors and area queens admired the sashes of our
titleholders, which led to my sash making venture.
